What we do

Engineering services for teams that already know where they're going.

Three core ways to work with us, applied across the stacks and industries we know best. No discovery contracts, no months-long sales cycle.

Core services

Three ways to add engineering capacity.

Most engagements fall into one of these three shapes. We'll tell you on the first call which one fits — or that none of them do.

01

Custom Software Development

TypeScript · Node · React · Postgres · AWS

We take on full product builds and feature development for companies that don't have the internal bandwidth. Our engineers handle everything from system architecture to deployment.

What you get
  • Production-grade web and API systems
  • Architecture, CI/CD, and infra setup
  • Documented handover or ongoing ownership
In practice

A startup needs to build their core product but isn't ready to hire a full engineering team. We step in, own the technical side, and deliver a working system.

02

Team Extension

Backend · Frontend · Mobile · DevOps

We embed senior engineers into your existing team on a contract basis. They work inside your codebase, join your planning cycles, and contribute like a full-time hire would.

What you get
  • Senior engineers placed in 1–2 weeks
  • Embedded in your standups and repo
  • Scale up or down with 30 days' notice
In practice

A growing product team needs two extra engineers for six months to hit a launch deadline. We provide them within two weeks.

03

Technical Consulting

1–4 week engagements · Fixed scope

Short engagements focused on a specific technical problem. Architecture reviews before a major rewrite, system design for a new product area, or code audits when something feels wrong but you can't pinpoint it.

What you get
  • Written architecture assessments
  • System design proposals
  • Code and security audits
In practice

A CTO wants a second opinion on their database strategy before they scale. We spend a week reviewing the system and deliver a written assessment.

Specialisms

Where our engineers go deep.

Engagements are shaped by the service; the work itself usually lands in one of these areas. If your problem sits across two of them, that's normal — we pair engineers accordingly.

Platform & Infrastructure

Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud cost work for teams whose infra has outgrown its original shape.

Backend & APIs

Service design, data modelling, and integration work across Node, Python, and Go.

Frontend Engineering

Production React and TypeScript work — design systems, performance, accessibility, and complex stateful UIs.

Data & Analytics

Pipelines, warehouses, and analytics surfaces. Making data usable for product and finance teams.

AI Integration

Practical LLM features in real products — retrieval, evaluation, and the unglamorous plumbing that makes them reliable.

Mobile

Native iOS and Android, or React Native when it's the right call. Released to stores, not just demoed.

Industries

Where we've shipped before.

We don't claim to know every industry. These are the ones where our engineers have shipped production systems and can be useful from day one.

SaaS & B2B Software

Multi-tenant systems, billing, role-based access, and integrations with the rest of the customer's stack.

Fintech

Payment flows, ledgers, KYC integrations, and the audit trails compliance teams ask for.

Healthtech

Patient-facing products and clinical tooling, with the privacy and reliability expectations that come with them.

Marketplaces

Supply and demand mechanics, search, ranking, and operations dashboards for the team running the marketplace.

Engagement shapes

Pick the shape that fits the work.

Pricing depends on team size and seniority. These are the three contract shapes we quote; you'll get a written number before anything starts.

Project

Fixed scope

A defined deliverable with a fixed timeline. Best when the scope is well understood and the success criteria are clear.

  • Written scope and milestones
  • Single point of accountability
  • Hand-over and documentation included
Start with project

Team extension

Most common
Monthly

Senior engineers embedded in your team, billed monthly. The most common shape for ongoing product work.

  • 1–6 engineers per engagement
  • Minimum 4 hours timezone overlap
  • 30-day notice either way
Start with team extension

Advisory

Weekly

A senior engineer on call for a few hours a week. Architecture reviews, hiring help, and unblocking decisions.

  • 4–8 hours per week
  • Async-first with weekly call
  • Cancel any time after month one
Start with advisory
How we work

From first call to first commit.

A short, deliberate process. The whole thing usually takes one to two weeks.

01

Scope call

A 30-minute call to understand what you're shipping, the stack, and where the gaps are. No discovery fees.

02

Proposal

Within a few days you get a written proposal — engagement shape, team, timelines, and price. One page, no fluff.

03

Kick-off

Contracts, access, and onboarding handled by us. Engineers in your tools by the end of week one.

04

Delivery

Weekly delivery check-ins, monthly review of fit. You see the same tickets and code your internal team sees.

Frequently asked

About working with us.

Can you replace our agency?+

Often, yes. Agencies sell projects and rotate teams. We embed senior engineers in your team and stay until the work is done.

Do you sign NDAs and custom MSAs?+

Yes. Most of our engagements run on the customer's paper. We have a standard MSA available if you'd prefer to start from ours.

Where are your engineers based?+

Primarily across Europe and the Americas. Each engagement commits to a minimum of four hours of overlap with your core team.

How are engagements priced?+

Monthly rates per engineer for team extension, fixed price for projects, and a weekly retainer for advisory. Sent in writing before anything starts.
